Furthermore, we are dedicated to extending our commitment beyond the school gates through initiatives, such as our "No Waste Lunches" program.
NO WASTE LUNCHES
Lovedale actively supports healthy eating habits and empowers students to play a crucial role in preserving our planet. Through our "No Waste Lunches" initiative, we encourage students to recycle, compost, and pack lunches that leave no environmental footprint.
Students are required to pack their lunches using reusable lunch boxes, durable food containers, cloth napkins, and reusable flatware. Most importantly, we promote the inclusion of nutritious choices to ensure both the well-being of our students and the sustainability of our planet.
